I WANT TO LIVE
You say I can't, make my songs
You say I can't, I'm not that good
You say I should - not believe that
I'm better than you - I don't
But I want to live
You say it's sad - I sing so bad
You say they won't, play my song
You say I should - not step forward
and show my face - I don't
But I want to live
Everybody has the right to be someone
if they could
And everybody has the right to live
in the neighbourhood
Everybody's talented and gifted and good -
in their own ways - in many ways
You take it for a fact that I can't
follow my dreams
they are unreal - and so it seems
|
They are big, hairy, fluffy and pointless means
Led a man to the moon -
And that's bibbeli dooddeli babbedi BOO
But I want to live
You say my dreams won't come true
You say reality teach us to
not to believe in happiness or fantasy
I disagree
You say nobody - cares for me
You say noone - can, teach from me
You say I'm no good -
You say I can't do anything
I can
I'm as good, as I am -
I fill me to the top - from the bottom and up
I want to live and
To live is what I really want
I do
